Tropical Storm Guchol

Rain pouring so hard beyond that window
Wind blowing that almost break that little tree
Thunder rolling on the open sky
Typhoon is knocking on our country again
Hope nothing bad happens
After all, darkness will always be followed by a silver lining ^_^

Sunrise of the North

This photo is taken from the province of Baler, Aurora.

Wonderful it is as you wait for the moment this mister sunshine greets your morning. Perfect sunrise of me is this. Sun went up the hill and reflect its bursting light to the sea. This photo is taken from the Sea Port of Baler somewhere near the Grotto. This is my first time to reach this place and it is really good thing that i woke up early that day to go to this place. My personal advice to those person who will go to Aurora Province is to witness the sunrise in the Grotto, Seaport and Sabang Beach. You wont regret it I swear.

By the way, Aurora Province is located on the northern part of Luzon. It is only 7-8hours away from Manila.

Bow of the Rain

Have you seen a colorful something up in the sky? Well I just want you to know that is not the Powerpuff Girls. That is called Rainbow.

Rainbow is usually seen after the rain, storm, or a shower from the sky. Something that makes us smile after having trouble with the rain.

It is also like the a silver lining after the darkest hours

It is just like when we are having a problem. After resolving it, it feels like we fulfill something in our mind and in our heart.

Rainbow, for me, symbolizes hope, happiness and achievement. Rainbow always come next after the water falls down from heaven. The smile after the tears. And the trophy for accomplishing our goal.

Next time you see a rainbow, try to make it as a model. If this rainbow comes after the thunder, therefore, I can manage to do something better for my self.

Strawberry Taho... A Taste of Baguio

Taho! Taho! Taho!!!~~~
This taho is made from soy beans, that is freshly made just like the silk tofu. Usually sold during morning by a man that carrying 2 steel barrel connected by a piece of wood hanged on their shoulder. Taho's ingredients includes tapioca and caramel.. Usual taho it is.

We went to baguio last panagbenga festival 2012 to witness the "blooms" of Baguio. As we walk along the sidewalk going to the mansion, I was able to see manong tindero that was selling strawberry taho. Out of curiosity, I was able to taste it. There is no strawberry taho in manila T_T. I feel so ignorant that time. ha ha ha

One small cup of strawberry taho is x2 expensive than the regular taho. It cost 10 pesos for this. Strawberry taho has fresh strawberry bits with strawberry syrup and small tapioca. Sweet and so taste this is.
Strawberry taho is a must taste when you go to baguio city!!!

Burp at Zark's Burger

Craving for Burger? Why don't you try Zark's Burger...

I can't believe there's other burger haven better than Burger Avenue and we just discover this recently. Zark's Burger is located near the De La Salle University - Taft. It takes 30-45 minutes travel from our office but we find it so worth it.

Expect a messy table if you want to feel eating this "the man's way". Well I can say it because it covers about 3/4 of my small hand. This makes me eat too messy. hahaha. Well, compare to Burger Ave's patty theirs is more tasty, more variant and close to heart attack. Their "ordinary" burger has 1/4 pound patty while other has 1/2 pound. Now what can you say??? hahah. The cost of their patty range from 100-500 pesos. Cheap price but quality will speak I swear.

17th Hot Air Balloon Festival 2012

This photo is taken last February 11, 2012 at Clark Field, Pampanga. These hot air balloon looks like candy in the sky as they fill the blue sky with colorful balloons. Heart fulfilling it is as you see the hot air balloon takes off and conquer the sky as the sun slowly rise up on the wide blue sky.

As you can see, ms Sunflower wants to conquer the sky also. This sunflower hot air balloon tries to bloom her self on the sky.

Take a glance also to the flying ice cream! As it want to spread "sweetness" in the sky

St. Peter and Paul Church... The century pride of Bantayan Cebu

This is a century old church located at the heart of Bantayan proper. As you can notice, the structure is quiet too old yet a symbol of Christianity. This is a 45 minutes ride away from Sta. Fe, Bantayan.
Along its location is a nice park located on the center part of the site which is also near from the market and seaport.
Well, i cannot say anything further since i wasn't given a chance to take a glance inside this church because I was wearing short skirt and a tube on that day. I want to give respect on the sacredness of the place.
Well, this is one of the must see churches in the Philippines.

Sunset of the South: A view from Bantayan

Sunset anyone? This picture was taken from Bantayan Island, Cebu City. A captivating view from the shore that makes so cool. We are on the west part of the island on this photo, 10 minutes away from the south shore part of the island. Although we are not lucky that day because we weren't able to witness the sunrise due to bad weather, surely the sunset complete our day.
If you want to do something while watching the sunset, you can plunge to the open water there. It also has a nearby port called "Kota Port". Well, you should witness it by yourself. lol

Food for the Stressed!

Stressed? Why don't you try to eat tons! Last friday, me and my officemate decided to eat to Nihonbashi tei located near Little Tokyo somewhere in Makati. Actually this is my second time to eat there. This time, I order Ankake Ramen that cost P260.00. Taste tells that it is worth it!
Ankake Ramen is basically contains seafood.  This ramen has strong flavor of broth. It also has shrimp, octopus tentacles, leaf vegetable (i don't know what it is), mushroom, egg, onion leeks and noodles. Flavor rich, strong taste. This is served on a big bowl!!!! Actually I wasn't able to finish the whole serving T_T

After eating, I almost forgot that I am tired and stressed that day. Maybe I was shocked on what I have eaten that night. It is good to try something different once in a while. Eating instant noodles always is not good for our health. Try something new that is freshly made from true ingredients sometimes ^_^. Its also good for our body since it doesn't have any preservatives
